MediNotes Training Classes!

5/1/08

AVS Medical will be offering fall training sessions via Webinar at no charge for all of our MediNotes clients with current support contracts. The classes focus on the new/upgraded features in MediNotes version 5.2 including:

Thursday, May 8, 2008 12:00 - 12:45 PM
eRxElectronic prescribing has made major leaps forward! Providers can now see whether or not medication choices are in a patient’s formulary BEFORE completing the prescription. The provider can see at-a-glance the preferred medication according to the insurance company, along with other possible substitutions. A simplified prescription process, medication suggestions based on topics, pending medications, and prior medications are all part of the improved eRx.

Thursday, May 15, 2008 12:00 - 12:45 PM
Security Manager
This powerful tool allows you to set up groups and roles for the users in your office, giving you greater security as to how patient and practice information is accessed. In order to simplify compliance, Security Logs and Patient Audit logs are generated to track user activity in patient records and within the program.

Thursday, May 22, 2008 12:00 - 12:45 PM
MediNotes Report
:  MediNotes Report gives providers the ability to generate reports using a wide variety of criteria. This can be used to generate mailing lists for preventative medicine appointments, immunizations, and many other purposes.

Thursday, May 29, 2008 12:00 - 12:45 PM
Other 5.2 features:
Medication Instruction Lookup, Patient Visit Summary, Reason for Appointment, Order Sets, Forward for Review
